Mac an Athar is the story of Se�n, a 12 year-old boy raised in the Irish language on Dublin's Northside, who encounters ridicule for his "unorthodox" upbringing. He has not spoken a word of Irish to his father, Tom�s, since the sudden death of his mother some months back.
